That is the whole method. No hot water that shrinks wool, no harsh detergent that strips natural dyes, no machine that beats the pile flat.

Inspect and dust
We check fibre, dyes, fringes and any weak areas, then dust the rug to pull out the sand and grit that South Florida yards work into the pile.

Cold-water hand wash
The rug is washed by hand in cold water with plant-based soap. Cold water keeps natural dyes stable and keeps wool from felting or shrinking.

Controlled flat drying
Rugs dry flat with moving air, so they hold their shape and dry all the way through rather than staying damp in the humidity.

Grooming and final check
Pile is groomed in its natural direction, fringes are tidied, and the rug is checked again for odour and spots before it goes back on the truck.
